I liked what I saw from Francisco against the lefty. He took some close pitches.

Danny Dorn has two doubles tonight.... against a LHP. He has looked good against Scott Lewis tonight. Not opening way up and has been staying in on it.

Dorn is 2 for 2 with 2 doubles. Those are the only hits for the Bats.

Clipper starter Lewis has 8 K through 4.

Dayton is about to get underway. I am listening and will provide some PBP of Jacob Johnson's debut.

Doug, what do you think of Anderson, Terrero and Burke playing on this team?

I am surprised by Terrero more than the others. Still a bit surprised that they are there over Alonso.

Re: Monday, April 12th minor league updates

    Dayton's first inning:
    Top of the 1st
Gregorius - Takes strike 1, fouls one off, takes ball 1, swings and misses a breaking ball.
Rodriguez - Fly ball to right for out #2.
Means - Strike 1, fly ball to right center ends the inning.

    Bottom of the 1st
1st batter - 87 MPH FB for ball 1. FB misses, ball 2. Strike one on the corner. Fly ball to center field for out #1.
2nd batter - Strike 1. Looking for strike 2. Line drive single to RF.
3rd batter - Missed pitch 1. Ground ball foul, 1-1 count. Breaking ball outside, 2-1. 87 MPH FB for strike 2. Wild pitch, runner to 2nd. Close pitch, but its ball 4.
4th batter - Low ball 1. Groundball past a diving 3B and its 1-0 Bowling Green.
5th batter - Breaking ball swinging strike 1. Not sure what the pitch call was, but a running gaffe leads to Coddington getting an out at 2b. FB for a strike to make it 1-2. Foul ball back. Grounder to 3B to end the inning.

    Dayton trails 1-0.

If someone other than Dorn gets a hit here, maybe Danny can drive them in.

Lehr's pitching a gem so far.

    Dayton's 2nd inning
Wiley - Ran to get a drink, but he struck out swinging.
Richburg - Strike 1. Fly ball to right for an out.
Coddington - Foul ball. Ball low. FB inside. Flyball out to left.

    Bottom of the 2nd
1st batter - Falls behind 3-0. Strike on the inside corner. Ball 4.
2nd batter - Strike one. Fly ball to left for out #1.
3rd batter - FB low. Low and outside. FB for a strike. Strike looking. Outside for a ball. Groundball into left field. Runner to 3rd. Wiley bobbles the ball and the hitter gets to 2B. Wiley gets the error.
4th batter - Foul ball. Wild pitch, run scores. 2-0 Bowling Green. Coddington, Johnson and Benzinger all arguing something with the umpires. Another wild pitch leads to another run. 3-0 Bowling Green. Bunt foul. Grounder to third goes for an error, Tom Nichols disagrees with the call.
5th batter - Pitch is taken, and the runner steals 2nd. Line drive out to Means in CF.
6th batter - Low for ball 1. Strike on the corner. Foul ball back behind the plate. Single on a soft fly ball to CF plates the runner. 4-0 Bowling Green.
7th batter - Grounder ends the inning.

    Bowling Green 4-0.
