Dayton scores one on an error and the bases are loaded for Gregorius in a 4-2 game.
Gregorius walks to cut the lead to 4-3. Henry Rodriguez now up with the bases juiced and 1 out.
Henry Rodriguez with a GRAND SLAM! Dragons lead 7-4. His second HR of the game.
The Dragons are getting remarkable production from their 1-2-3 hitters--Gregorius, Rodriguez and Means.
Another note on Henry Rodriguez - He has a HR from each side of the plate tonight.
Carolina is up 3-2 in the middle of the 7th. Alexander Smit 5.1ip, 2er, 1BB and 5K.
With his rookie ball numbers meshed in with his Winter League numbers and his start to the season... Rodriguez could quickly play himself into top prospect status... 20 year old switch hitter with a high contact rate and power... 5 XBH and no K's in 5 games... Mercy.

Carolina's bullpen has imploded. Smit left the game allowing 1 run. In the last 1.1 innings the bullpen has allowed 4 runs (though 1 of those runs did go to Smit). They now trail 5-3.
Dayton wins 7-4.

Carolina loses 7-3. Their first loss of the season.
Dorn may be forcing the issue if he keeps this up. Laynce Nix better start looking over his shoulder.
