Delay between radio and TV audio?

I like listening to Franchester and the Cowboy and this season there is like a 10 decond delay between tv and radio, radio used to be ahead of the Fox broadcast now its reversed. What is up with that?
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

If one is going to be ahead of the other you would want the tv to be ahead provided you were watching with a dvr. Then you just pause the tv to let the radio catch up. If the radio was ahead you wouldnt be able to pause it to let the tv catch up.

You're not listening on satellite or online are you? Because that would be a delay.

The delay seems reaaaallly long this year. It is like 20 seconds and hard to time with the DVR. Its almost not worth it, at least not when Thom and Brantley are doing the FSN call. When Paul Keels is on I'll make the extra effort to listen to Marty.

The TV signal travels farther (outer space, satellites, back to earth etc.) while the radio signal just comes from your station, whatever station that might be, so it doesn't travel nearly as far and therefore arrives sooner.
