Where was that 3rd pitch against Uggla at? Look real good to me.

edit: Apparently it looked real good to everyone else too, Gamecast had it right down the middle. No doubt a make up call on that previous strike 3 call in my mind.

Well at least Vanover's strike zone is inaccurate for both sides tonight ...

Dickerson and Janish can have their naysayers but they really seem to bring a different demeanor to the team as a whole when they're in the lineup. Really patient approach 1-6 today.

And Gomes hits a laser to get the Reds on the board.

Let's hope our offense is just cooking after that last inning. A long game still to play. Volstad's pitch count rising quickly. Their bullpen is their weakness too.

OK, I've got to ask...does anyone know what the deal is with Bailey looking nowhere near the plate when he's releasing the ball?

I've never understood how, if he does that regularly, he could expect to have any kind of control. Not to mention that it seems like a very dangerous thing to do for a pitcher...having to refocus in the millisecond before the pitch is hit.

Let's go Reds! Score some runs. Volstad is garbage!
