Just a thought. This organization has spent the last three years rounding up pitching and defense and for the most part have been successful. They've ignored offensive production. Thinking Jay Bruce was the next Ken Griffey Jr and it was OK to not have an offensive minded centerfielder and leftfielder, no real MLB hitters have been acquired outside of Scott Rolen, so this is what you get. If the pitching holds up, they've got a chance in any game they play. If it doesn't, it's pretty much lights out.
Heading to the top of the 9th chance, it's 10-1 bad guys. I don't think it's in the cards to win tonight (Duh).
At least the Reds didn't get beaten by the Astros today.
The Reds must have a favorite barber in Miami. I don't know what to call the new doos that Hernandez and Gomes got.

Props to anyone who made it through the game last night. I'm going out of town this weekend so I thought it would be better for me to pack and get ready for that trip than to watch my team get pummeled in last night's game. Time to kick some behind in Pittsburgh!
