    And then janish swings at the first 2 pitches and pops out. Terrible at bat.

    Nice for the Reds. They need to see that runs can be scored without swinging the bat.

    I think we gained some confidence once Duke left the game. We did have 0 effort early on though. Players not running out balls and just looking dead tired.

    I know the size of the crowd is not important but there is something about losing these games on the road in front of 1500 people that drives me nuts...so much for being .500

    atleast we didn't lose on some fluke plays. the pirates played the ninth the way it should be played. hopefully we will get them tomorrow

    I keep hoping we suck for awhile and mgmt fires him, only to have the offense and pitching come alive once he's gone.
