I've never had their cannoli, but if you want really authentic Italian, go to Biagio's in Clifton. It's the only restaurant that's instantly transported me back to Rome and my Mom to her grandmother's kitchen.
All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.
I've had decent Cannoli at Tratoria Roma on Walnut Street downtown.
Scotti's down on Vine St. has darn fine Italian. I've never had the cannoloni there but everything else is great.
She used to wake me up with coffee ever morning
My old neighbor got a bunch of cannoli for their son's rehearsal dinner at Ferrari's Little Italy & Bakery in Madeira:

You are talking about the pastry, right?
And I second what Paint said about Biaggio's on Ludlow in Clifton. Very good pasta (made by my neighbor, their pasta maker). But Paint, I had no idea you were part Italian. Were your Italian ancestors from the northern part up towards Switzerland where there are some blondish Italians?

thanks for your input. My wife and I tried the one from Biagio's and it was excellent!
