I can't say I've ever seen a team just give up the way the Cavs did. Down by 9 with about 50 seconds left, the straits are dire, but not hopeless. Its the NBA, weird things can happen. Get a steal, hit a couple 3 pointers, I've seen it happen.
But they just ..... gave up. Its a deciding game. If you lose your season is over. You had the best record in the NBA, you're the #1 seed. Do anything, try everything, battle to the buzzer. But no. Bizarre.

I'd imagine for the conference finals and NBA finals they would need to schedule each game to hit on an exact day. So the fact that the series all finished early leaves a break.

That really surprised me. As a Celtics fan I was feeling comfortable with that lead with a minute left but I've seen enough NBA games to realize that a lead like that could disappear in that little time. Like that Reggie Miller game against the Knicks. But CLE just stood there and let BOS run the clock out. It was a bit disappointing to me.
Who is 1? Nash? Or Deron Williams?
As for Rondo, he is still the 4th best point guard in my book. But he is closing fast. It still goes Paul, Williams, Nash (sentimental maybe, but the guy can still play) then Rondo.

I'd say Nash, though most of that is because I see the Suns and C's play more than the Jazz or Hornets. And also because both Nash and Rondo have better dudes to play with.
