That picture is never not funny.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

I know as well as anybody that the Dodgers have a good offense, but Good Lord, even Reed Johnson is teeing off on this team.

    Bring on the Padres?

Surprised Lincoln (or Hernandez) went away from the curve on Loney, Johnson, and Kemp. He fed the other hitters a steady diet and had them completely off balance.

So I guess this means all those great performances in September and Walt's magic didn't really take.

It's a shame Harrang has lost it as he seems like a genuinely nice person. But this is business.

Someone else said it, but the Dodgers brought something to the field that no amount of hope or internet wishful thinking can overcome: talent.

a super volcano of ridonkulous suckitude.

I simply don't have access to a "cares about RBI" place in my psyche. There is a "mildly curious about OBI%" alcove just before the acid filled lake guarded by robot snipers with lasers which leads to the "cares about RBI" antechamber though. - Nate

Yankees were 15-17 last season on May 12 and were on pace to give up over 1000 runs. I guess their moves didn't take either.
