Yes. The TV guys commented that 2 or 3 times a game Padilla throws an ultra slow pitch like that.

Okay, 3rd inning...so our pitcher is in the 70's for a pitchcount, right? :O) (33 actually)

Kemp draws a 5 pitch walk. Everything away. Looked like Leake wanted nothing to do with Kemp.

Grounder to Phillips to end the inning. 7 of last 9 retired. Leake...our #1 starter? :O)

    Dodger 3rd:

    Padilla bounces out to third.
Furcal flies to deep left, very nice catch by Dickerson... (Double at least w/ Gomes)
    Kemp walks
    Ethier out 4-3.

Dodgers up 2-1 after 2 and a half.

    Leake at 41 pitches, 25 strikes. 1 BB, 2 Ks, 2 hits.

That 1st ab for Dickerson got changed to a hit instead of an error on Padilla.

    Reds 3rd:

Leake grounds out 4-3. (BA down to 'only' .500)
    Dickerson Ks swinging.
    Cabrerra Ks swinging.

After three, Dodgers 2, Reds 1.

Padilla has thrown 41 pitches, 29 for strikes. He has 5 Ks, and has given up 0 BBs, and 2 hits.

    Re: 4-22-10 Reds v Dodgers

    Dodgers 4th:

    Manny grounds out to Leake.
    Loney grounds out to Cabrerra.
    Casey Blake Ks looking.

After three and a half: Dodgers 2, Reds 1.

Leake is now at 50 pitches. Much better control (or a better ump) than last two starts.

This Leake kid is good. Everything is low. Works fast.
