Everyone get off OCab's nuts. He was a solid addition to this team.
RBIs really dont mean much but he has taken advantage of the opportunities hes been given thankfully because hes been pretty awful when no one is on.

Yea his RBI total doesnt mean much. Hes hit well when hes had a chance to knock in a run but he hasnt been all that productive for the guys behind him. Hes scored 7 runs this year and 2 of them are from home runs. Thats pretty much lowest on the team and hes had 30 more PA than some other guys.I am going to assume that you meant to say,

Considering how Stubbs has been doing this is a pretty amazing stat.
Cabrera has always had a high number of RBI's and Runs. I think he's been very productive thus far and came through must of the time when ducks have been on the pond. That being said hopefully Votto will pass him before the year is over.
Its going to be hard based on how unproductive Stubbs/Dickerson and Cabrera have been, but he obviously will.
Another funny stat, BP is tied for 2nd with Stubbs on the team in walks behind Votto.
OCab seems to always hit to the situation if they need a big hit he gets it. He battles.
He also doesn't whiff much, and ends up with a lot of ground balls up the middle to get a runner in from 3rb and sac flies...some of our other hitters need to take his approach when they get 2 strikes with runners on.
He leads in RBI's because he's never on base for the players behind him to get any RBI's.
All the more reason to drop him to 8th in the batting order.
I'd rather have a guy that only hits with runners on vs. someone who only hits with no one on.
