    Re: 4-23-10 Padres at Reds

So I'd say starting Bronson tonight was not the best choice.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Looks like the Reds are goping to let Arroyo get one of his two 10 run outings out of the way tonight

Another full count to Cabrera who lines one to right. 6-0 Padres.

    Crowd not happy. Many boos.

2 in and no one out. More than 3 runs this inning, I think.

Our pitching has been worse than horrible this year so far.

6-0 and thats now 3 straight games Arroyo has given up 5 or more runs.
ERA is now at 6.65 and he still has 2 men on with 0 outs.

Jerry Hairston nubs one into right. Bases loaded.

All 454 fans in attendance on this Friday night are already thinking about heading to the bars. The Lost Decade refuses to go down without a massive fight.

No one can get anyone out for the Reds. Bases loaded, no outs and 2 runs in. Not good. So much for this staff. They have regressed.

    Grand Salami for Gonzalez. 10-0.

If we made a drinking game out of the Reds' starting pitching, we'd all be total drunks.

Check that -- 6 runs in with the grand salami from Gonzalez. Our pitching blows right now and I fear it will for awhile. I don't envy Coach Price at all.
