    Golden Sombrero for Dickerson.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I'm convinced Chris Dickerson can only see pitches on the inside half of the plate this year. 17/1 K:BB. Yikes.

Paul Janish needs to be the starting SS. For now.

    Janish seriously wants playing time.

Janish & Hanigan. If they haven't earned the starters jobs yet, I'm not sure what more they have to do. Every time they come in...they produce. Defensively AND offensively. Time to make the switch more permanent.

Or at the very least give them more playing time.

Heck...Cairo is useless....you have Janish to play 2B/SS and 3B...might as well get Sutton up here to do what Cairo can do.

Heard the Cowboy saying that Cairo was the first player off the bench, so you had to give him some swings. I had to go out during the last half of the game and nearly wrecked my car. Idiots!

You the man! You must be a Bloodliner. I think it might have been John's least favorite song, though he started performing it again toward the end.

My favorite baseball moment concerning Johnny was when Chris Berman had a clip up of a Giant outfielder losing the ball in the sun and Berman said, "just like John Stewart, he lost it in the sun."

    Baseball fan, too.

I blame the poor start to the fact that George Grande is out of the booth. A lot of people here didn't like the guy but now that he's gone look how bad this team is without him. Serves you all right.

Agreed. Go with who's getting the job done.
