    Carlos Mendez singles and Devin Mesoraco is hit by a pitch to start the 2nd for Lynchburg. Buchholz, Puckett and Gualdron all strike out to end the inning.

    Matt Fairel gets a strikeout and a 1 pitch fly out to start the 2nd inning and I missed the third out, but it was quick as well as I was only out of the room for 20 seconds and commercials were on when I got back in.

    No, they couldn't. The side was struck out. I believe that is 9 or 10 K's on the day through 5 innings for the Hillcats.
