very excited about mesoraco right now!
Buck fell behind, 2-1, in the sixth, and left the game with one out and a runner on first. Sean Watson replaced him. We know what that means. There's still one out, and it's now 8-1.
Dayton lost 7-3.

Means trying to become Nix
If Louisville plays:
Burke .167
Heisey CF .233
Dorn 1B .264
Francisco 3B .171
Cozart SS .271
Frazier LF .162
Valaika 2B .375
Miller C .296
LeCure P .000
LeCure 2.08 ERA
A rainout is likely but it's not raining right now
Its nice for Chris Burke that he gets to play at home while his career winds down, but playing him ahead of guys who still have a shot at a major league role seems nuts. Tonight its Sutton, Castillo and Wlad sitting while Burke plays. To top it off, Burke leads off while Valaika hits seventh.

Carolina is going down the same path as last year. The team made a late first half run last year and came up short. The second half was a continuation of the decline. I really don't understand it either. Last season we had Heisey early, Wood until June, Cozart and Francisco. Of course, they're not impressing this year so maybe it should make sense. We're in last place already and its still April. Granted, Tennessee is playing lights out, but still... There are some here that aren't sold on David Bell's style but I don't see that as having much bearing on it. We've got a new pitching coach this year in Brown...again, I don't get it. If you look back at our boxscores to date, its like we have that one inning every that we give up a boatload of runs and we're out of it. Sean Watson is playing that role now like a pro.
