    Phew. Tight rope Harang.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Woah, gun had Harang at 95 on that strikeout pitch to Berkman. Love to see him attacking with the fastball again.

He's getting a little help from a generous ump, but still looking good.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Agree. .699 lifetime OPS against right-handers. If he's going to be in the lineup, he and Hanigan should be flip-flopped.

    Yes.

Glad the Reds wised up and shortened his lead.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

I'd love to see it stop happening, but give Norris some credit. He's got one of the best moves I've seen in a LOOOOOOONG time.

Serious question: Has Cabrera stopped/made a play on any hit this season where he had to range to either side?

It's ridiculous how every single ball hit to that side that 'should' be gotten to goes thru him. So frustrating to watch!

Feels like this inning has been going on forever.

Man... how many balls have we hit about 10 feet shy tonight?

That's the thing. It's not even that he doesn't get to them. He just ends up diving over them. Really frustrating to watch.

I've really been trying of late to think of a reason that Hanigan & Janish should NOT be starting the majority of the games. I really have. No luck so far.

Cabrera's fall-down range is hard to watch. (and yes...I do get to "watch" today. Going to tomorrow night's game here at MM)
