The thing with Rick Sweet is he knows how to handle a pitching staff.

This is the closest the REDS have been to having a "real" manager since Jack McKeon. Sweet is only one step away.

I hope there's a "No Extension Rally" in the stands this season regarding Baker.

Such coherent language. You're really clear about your ideas. Never knew the English Language could be used to such depths.

One out left time for Stubbs to break out of his slump. I have a good feeling.

Oppsy guess not. Next at bat though I can feel it.

Stubbs hit it hard to 3rd. Inning over.

I guess with these guys 2 runs with the bases loaded and no outs is good, but championship teams would have gotten 3,4

It's only the lineup that most "knowledgeable" people would use.

There's no chance whatsoever the REDS compete for anything this year. Because of that, you don't waste plate-appearances on players that have no future with the team for 2011. You play the players whom you still have doubts about, so you can see what they have and what they could contribute to the team for 2011. That's why you sit Gomes, Hernandez and Cabrera as much as possible, and play Dickerson, Hanigan, and Janish as much as possible. Anyone with common sense can see that. Major League Baseball scouts have said the exact same thing. You can learn something here from them.
