I know phillips has an option for 11 or 12 million next year but does anyone know what the buyout is on the option. Im just thinking that its very likely the reds buy him out and let him be a free agent. Espically if he keeps struggling.

Phillips is signed next year for $11million. His option year is 2012, not 2011. He will be paid $12mill that year or the Reds can buy him out for $1millOriginally Posted by dunner13
