Roster moves today - Kevin Coddington activated in Dayton, Byron Wiley and Nick Christiani to Lynchburg, Dave Sappelt to Carolina, Luis Terrero to Louisville and Chris Heisey to Cincinnati.
I'm heading out soon to play softball. After that I'll be recovering from playing softball. Really hoping Maloney continues his strong start after the short DL stint.

Hillcats starting off well. Fellhauer singled and Cody Puckett doubled off the wall and Fellhauer went to 3rd. Hopefully they can cash it in.

Interesting note from the broadcast - Neftali Soto has been working on being more selective at the plate. He walked twice yesterday and is the first Lynchburg player with 2 walks in a game. He has 6 walks in 80 PA this season, much higher than his career rate of 4.7% (currently at 7.5%).
Soto just singled up the middle to drive in two. He took 2B on the throw to home, then advanced to 3B on a throwing error trying to get him at 2B.

After the first 7 batters reach for Lynchburg, Potomac goes to the bullpen. 5-0 Hillcats.
Potomac pitcher Frias held the Hillcats to 1 run in 5 innings in his most recent start. Just 1 strikeout though, so I guess things are evening out now.
Justin Reed drives in a run on a single, but is thrown out trying to advance on the error. 6-0 Hillcats.
Devin Mesoraco is hitting .311/.394/.623 currently. The best part? His BABIP is .285.
Matt Fairel got them 1-2-3 in the 2nd inning as well.
