I'm sure they would have, but Pujols doesn't miss chances. If it were a reds player today he would make a dumb swing and ground into a double play or pop it up.
or been called out on a strike that only a cardinals pitcher would get and likely never see a 3-0 count.

still a 4-2 road trip is good anytime. Now we need a 4-2 home stand.

we just had a 4-2 road trip and lost a game in the standings...unreal....
Three hits don't do much for any team. The Reds had several chances to hurt Carpenter but wasted them.
Get back to Cincy and take the Mets series and go from there.
missed the game. i knew carpenter was throwing and it would be tough for the reds, but they only got 3 hits?!?! wow....harangs lined looked pretty darn good, just no run support. hopefully harang is coming around. how did bruce do? his bat seems to be coming along too. all good things.
