Anyone watching Mets-Phills slug-fest on ESPN?

Whether you have a rooting interest or not in either of these teams, it's still an awesome game. Phillies had a 7-run 4th, including J. Santana getting pulled. Phillies now lead 11-5. Just thought I'd let you all know.

I hope the Reds don't have to play the Phillies this year.

It was actually a nine run inning, and all nine runs scored with two outs. The Phillies scored three more runs in that inning than the Reds scored in the three game series in St. Louis.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

I just flipped it on in time to see Moyer walked with the bases loaded, Victorino hit a grand-slam and Utley hit a 2-run homer. I think it was a 9 run inning all told, with 9 consecutive batters reaching safely with 2 outs.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Rooting for the Phils to wear out that Mets pen coming into the series with the Reds tomorrow. We miss Santana and Pelfrey too. Mets may need the pen. Of course the Reds offense could make the others look like Santana. Lets hope Chris Heisey gets in and does well against the Lefty Perez tomorrow.

My bad, I missed the beginning of the inning.

Ah, I forgot they were comin' to town tomorrow. I'm going to the game on Wednesday, let's hope we're pushing for the sweep then.
