After Mike Leake's six-inning, one earned run performance on Monday night against the Mets, the Reds rotation has gone 4-1 with a 2.70 ERA over its last seven starts. Arroyo was right in the middle of that, outdueling Roy Oswalt with six strong innings on April 29, his first solid outing since his eight-inning 2010 debut. So not only is he hoping to keep the good times rolling for the rotation, he's looking to build off his last start -- his first victory of the year -- and find a personal groove to boot.
Reds pitcher Homer Bailey turned 24 on Monday. It's Miguel Cairo's turn on Tuesday. He turns 36.
Early game tomorrow. Players won't get a lot of sleep tonight.

Bad Bronson appears to have shown up tonight.

Man...when Arroyo shows up without his stuff, he is flat putrid. Not one of those guys who understands pitching well enough to get batters out without his A-game. This could be a long one.
