Harang pitching against the Cubs and he's not facing Zambrano? I can't remember the last time I saw that. It seems like those 2 are always matched up. Let's hope Aaron can keep up his rejuvenated pitching.

Aaron's not going to like THAT pitch being called a ball all night. *grumble, grumble*

    Cubs 1st

Theriot Ks swinging on a 93 mph fastball well placed on the outside corner.
Fukudome Ks looking on a 92 mph fastball.
Lee Ks looking on a 93 mph fastball.

Harang cruises through the 1st with 13 pitches.

Cool night in Cincinnati. C.Trent says gametime temp is 51.

Who knows how the rest of the game will turn out, but it was good seeing Harang working fast and pounding the strike zone early.

Great start similar to Cuetos the other day let's hope Aaron can keep attacking!

First time all year he's struck out the side? That fastball doesn't have much life on it, but at least it's going where he wants it to.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Good restraint on adding to the red K kollection there.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
