Jay Bruce doesn't believe in one hops to the catcher.

    wait.

    Nevermind.
Just because you can find a Canadian flag to post here doesn't make you a fangirl. Plus, you also have to be a girl, LOL

No kidding. I didn't realize that was the case until I saw the replay. Byrd had to be a little shocked to see the ball get there so fast.

Bad pitch selection to Soriano after being up 0-2.....Harang is not fun to watch at all. The way he labors and plods and seems to lose his focus.

Flyball to Bruce for the 3rd out. Dicey inning there from Harangatang...but escapes it unscathed.

    Cubs 2nd

Byrd singles to right, and moves to 2nd on a wild pitch.
Ramirez lines a single to right, Bruce cuts it off, and throws it on the fly to Hanigan to nail Byrd trying to score.
Soriano lines a single to left off Rolen's glove.
Soto flies out to Bruce on the warning track, Ramirez tags and goes to 3rd.
Castro flies out to Bruce in right.

    Harang at 34 pitches.

    Reds up 2 to 0.

The umpires must like the Reds tonight. Those plays could easily have gone either way. Thank goodness they went ours!
