Baseball is like church. Many attend, few understand
Need some insurance in the worst way
"This isn’t stats vs scouts - this is stats and scouts working together, building an organization that blends the best of both worlds. This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. Mariner
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
Error on Castro. Laser off the bat of Cabrera.

Caridad pitching btw...Nady in right, Fontenot at 2nd.
Castro wishes this was still game 1 instead of game 2.
Cabrera swipes 2nd on the ball in the dirt.
Cubs showing some 70's defense here. :O) 1st & 3rd now with no outs.
Now we just need a pop fly where 3 cubs converge only to watch if fall at their feet. *grin*
Joey needs to forget that Sean Marshall owned him last night and just hit the ball deep to get the sac fly insurance run. I'd prefer the three run HR here but after watching this matchup last night, I'll take the sac fly or a hit if he can figure out Marshall.
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
Caridad should got smash the gatorade cooler like Zambrano would have.
Or just take a walk against Marshall. That works too.

Votto works the walk to jam the bases. Zambrano the reliever coming in. Just looks odd seeing him coming out of the pen.
