Nice play by Phillips on a ball back up the middle. 2 down.

It's really amazing how slow Harang is working out of the stretch.

Aaron looked better when he was working faster. I don't mind the hold when you've got a runner on...but in general, he's slowed his pace.

    Cubs 3rd:

    Gorzelanny grounds out 5-3.
    Theriot grounds out 4-3.
    Fukudome singles to right.
    Lee flies out to Stubbs.

Harang at 54 pitches after 3 innings.

    Reds still up 2-0.

Aaron's not going inside and outside like his last outing. He's starting on one side of the dish and staying there. He's going up and down in the zone, just not in and out. I think the in and out with the fastball makes his slider better.

Lee flies out to Stubbs to end the inning.

Another IF single for the Reds, this one courtesy of Phillips. I'll take it.

Gomes with a hard single to left to knock in Phillips! 3-0 Redlegs. Nice to see Gomes finally swinging the stick. 7 for his last 11 ab's.

Jay K's swinging to end the inning. But we tack on another run to make it 3-0 after 3.
