    The Mariners have 12 HR's 1157 pa's...and other notes 5/10

    Thanks Griff, right?

    The Astros 13 hr, btw...

The Reds have 34 hr, good for 9th in baseball, 5th in the NL (Brewers 37, Cubs 38)...

That is some surprising power from a team generally not considered potent, and one that has played in many close games. The OBP problem is well noted in a zillion threads elsewhere...

The Reds 46 doubles ranks 28th in mlb...makes sense when you think about it...

    More Astros suckiness, for fun:

only 55 walks (last in mlb)

only 85 runs (last in mlb)

only .225 avg (last in mlb)

only 43 doubles (last in mlb)

    Yowzahhh!!!

This, I bask in this misery, because I can't stand the Astros.

    That is all.

As a point of reference, Barry Bonds walked 232 times in 147 games in 2004.
