Did Doumit's tag ever touch Gomes? Clearly Jonny's foot pushed Doumit's on to the plate, but I don't think the swipe tag made contact. Let's hope that run doesn't matter.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

He was clearly safe. Since Puffy Pig assures me that we will win (last night). I'm not worried about CoCo this time.

That was beautiful. Gomes is like a kid out there.

I was wrong about the ump being in the perfect position. You're right, he moved so he could get blocked by the catcher.

No...like I said....he did not even tag him....he pulled an Elrod Hendricks...and this ump ..IF he would have moved to the left of the plate or stayed behind it...would have seen it

I am more ticked this team has now scored maybe 10 runs in 4 games vs this sorry pitching staff.

Cordero can't find the strike zone with a GPS device.

Why do I feel like I'm watching Danny Graves?
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.
