GameDay still shows LaRoche's liner as a hit.

*looks befuddled at where the offense went from this past weekend*

Someone needs to remind these guys that the idea is to score runs and that the more you have, the better your chances are to win the game.

I think the efficiency of Arroyo's being overlooked here tonight. His 6th inning of work and he's at 69 pitches.

Is that a testament to his work...or the effort of the Pirates?

Another 3 up 3 down for Bronson.

4 out of his 6 innings tonight...1-2-3. Impressive. He looked a bit shaky early, but he's settled in nicely.

Probably a combination of both. He's pitching pretty well though and I didn't realize how pitch efficient he was being tonight. Good for him.

    Night of the Meek.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Give them a break, they never had to face such Cy Young candidates this weekend as Russ Ohlendorf, Javier Lopez and Evan Meeks.

    Reds 7th:

    Evan Meek in to pitch.
Arroyo grounds out meekly to the pitcher Meek.
    Cabrerra grounds out to 2nd.
    Phillips bounces out to Meek.

Meek out of the inning on 7 pitches, no rest for Arroyo that frame.

    Reds 1, Pirates 0.

*sigh* Ocab strikes again. Should've been another 1-2-3 inning.
