Another great at-bat by Hanigan.
Unfortunately, Arroyo and Cabrera bat after him.
What a waste of a player who has gotten on base at a .370 clip his entire professional life.
I don't agree with Gomes getting the day off with such a hot bat. I think you give Stubbs the night off and move Bruce to center and Nix to right. Then you have Stubbs speed on the bench in a pinch running situation if needed or bring him in as a defensive replacement late in the game
Nice sacrifice by Arroyo.
2 chances to score the run now.
Cabrera's had some "key" hits this season.
Nice job Cabrera. If BP doesn't BP it, then Votto gets a chance with RISP.
2 more left..suprise suprise
Cincinnati Reds
Marshall Thundering Herd
Kentucky Wildcats
Indianapolis Colts
Washington Wizards
Remember when Jeff Clement was being bantered about for trade ideas because we needed a Catcher?
too bad good teams convert every single one of those
i guess everyone is at the Pens game tonight
nice job Lance
Soft groundball to secondbase is what we need here
Yes.
Let Hanigan get ahead in the count with a pitchout.
Wonder what Janish would have done in that spot?
Though Cabrera does have a Walk already in this game. Add that to what he's done lately, and he's been earning playoff time.
Janish should still be getting as many starts (if not more), though as Cabrera (and Hanigan should be getting as many, if not more than, Hernandez).
