Kahaulelio drives in another run with a RBI single. 2-0 Carolina after 2 1/2 innings. Alonso is 0-for-2.

I'm guessing Maloney's short outing last time was to go easy on the blister. I hope he's fully healed, but those things can linger all year.

But if he goes six, and trikes out 6+ AND gets a bunch of groundballs in the process, Homer better be staking out a comfy seat in the bullpen.

I think the method for dealin with blisters is build up the callous by pushing it to a point then back off let he heal then redo it.

Glad Thompson is still going strong. Guess that scare last week, when he was temporarily removed from the roster for "shoulder fatigue", was a false alarm. He's been gangbusters.

And Kahaulelio has been on quite a tear, which is good except that he's so dang hard to spell.

I cant wait for the day Minor league ball games get the technology that we have for the majors. I wonder how long that will be.

Got word today that Tommy Nurre (of Miami U and St. X Cincinnati) is being added to the Dayton Dragons roster as of tonight. Don't know who's going (or if someone has already gone) to make room for him.

Only 17 balls in five innings? Nice.
