Cueto gave Cedeno a 3-0 head start just to break up the monotony. 7Ks.

Ground out to 3rd ends the game. A one-hitter for Cueto. Reds win 9-0! 4th win a row.

This was probably my favorite game of the year so far.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

And this one belongs to the Reds!

Cueto's ERA all the way down to 4.07. Don't worry about him.

Re: 5-11-10 Cincy vs. Pirates (Ahoy Mateys!)

The Pirates post-game show just announced that Edinson Volquez pitched his first-ever complete game tonight. So that's nice.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

Wow, what a phenomenal game tonight! Cueto was freaking awesome and the offense came back to life again. GREAT job guys!!!

We were ONE hit away from seeing a no hitter tonight! How cool is that?!

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou
