45/38 pitches/strikes thru 4 innings. Holy cow!
The game is on television here...90% of the crowd is in Penguins jerseys. This is understandable, but at the same time, I can't help paying mind to the fact that even Pirates fans can't root for the pirates.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.
Fly out to right center to end the inning. 4 scoreless in the books for Homer. 45 pitches...7 balls.
Other than pounding the strike zone, the biggest difference I'm seeing is the lack of offspeed stuff from Homer. He's throwing his FB the majority of the time...as he should.
My son and I were listening to the Pirate's radio broadcast Monday night. He couldn't believe it was a professional broadcaster. They make Brantley sound like the smartest baseball guy in the world.
Wake me up when 2015 is over.
Homer is only at 45 pitches through FOUR INNINGS?! Dang.
