There is nothing better than 1st inning runs. Nothing.

What a boost to the starting pitcher when you can get him a lead in the top of the 1st.

"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Pirate announcers are talking about how the Reds have a history of players that showboat and show up the opposition.

They think that Cueto was a showboat last night. And was "throwing inside too much"

Someone tell Bob Walk to quit crying about Cueto throwing inside...I mean seriously man...You came up in 1980 when they threw inside still and you have a problem with him doing that??

Sure...let's do the Pirates a favor and just lay it on a tee or work outside all day like Harang.

What a complete moron he sounds like.
