He can sit down now. This performance is very similar to one thrown by Cory Lidle as a Red.

Might just be getting some tossing in, since there's an off-day tomorrow.

Not the traditional 1-2-3, but I'll take it. :O)

    Homer after 8...80 pitches: 15 balls, 65 strikes. 4 hits / 0 runs / 0 walks / 5 strikeouts

ERA down to 5.80 after starting the game at 7.24

Dotel and his high socks in to pitch for the Buccos.

Can we just change Redszone to Rallyonion.com? Seems much easier than building a whole site

Just checked in on the game and I'm shocked. Guess Bailey was watching Cueto and wanted to try and one-up him. This pitch efficiency is awesome, if admittedly helped by an ineffective Pirate offense.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

The Pirates TV announcers are still peeing themselves over Phillips's web gem.

WLW feed just went out. Thought it was dead air for a few seconds, but it's been dead for awhile.

    Pumping strike after strike helps.

And now it's back on just in time to hear Bailey's strikeout.

Bailey batting for himself in the 9th. That says all you need to know about the game right there.

It's still good on computer via mlb.com audio, strangely enough.
