    David Klingler is clearly next.

Help stamp out, eliminate, and do away with redundancy.

Oh good grief, I am really starting to lose it.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

Neither did Pat Corrales, Hector Cruz, Rafael Landestoy, Russ Nixon, Lenny Harris, Rick Wrona, Curtis Goodwin, nor Alex Ochoa. I believe catcher Don Werner had time on the World Champions from 1976.

Corrales was on the 70 Reds that lost to Brooks Robinson in the series.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

    Re: Reds' magic number

Baseball reference listed Kevin Mitchell as having these dimensions:

    Kevin Mitchell
    Kevin Darnell Mitchell (World)

    Positions: Leftfielder and Third Baseman
    Bats: Right, Throws: Right
    Height: 5' 10", Weight: 186 lb.
I don't think I can ever believe anything I read on that site again...

Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
