Rolen is 7 for 30 w/ RISP (not counting walks, sacs, SF's, HBP's, etc...things that don't count as an "AB")......

    going into this plate appearance.

    7 for 30 is .233

Pet peeve time:Marty talking about whether Gallardo is a #1 or a #2. One of the dumber things I have ever heard in my life is classifying pitchers as a #1 or #2 etc. Just plain dumb. People will say this team or that team needs a #3. No, they need the best pitcher they can get. Okay, I feel better now.

    Seriously.

He wouldn't have the guts to make the attempt.
Janish might make that play if he had job security that Cabrera does.

If Cabrera makes the play you can rest assured that Janish makes that same play.

It's the mindset and the guts it takes to make that play. 98% of Shortstops throw that ball to first base. Cabrera is as cocky as they come.
