    We are the REDS.

We win a lot of games with our last at-bat.

Teams are already afraid to run on anything hit to Bruce. I bet hes taken 10 extra base hits away from people this year just by people being afraid of his arm.

    Gallardo's retired 9 in a row since Bruce's Walk in the 2nd.

We're still in it, though, down just 1 run.

Well, the plus is Gallardo is at 69 pitches and the Brewers don't have a good bullpen.

Still plenty of time in this one, but I'd hate to lose a close pitcher's duel when the offense has done so well lately. Of course, Gallardo is a good pitcher who's been on a roll. Still, he doesn't look all that sensational tonight, but he is hitting his spots against us when he's needed to. Cueto missed with a pitch over the middle of the plate and that's the difference in the game right now. That, and the tough luck in the bottom of the 1st inning. Of course, a couple of guys cut down at the plate make things manageable.

In theory, yes there will be home runs. Hopefully one or more by the Reds. Actually, one by Gomes would be nice leading off the 5th.

We have a baserunner sighting. Gomes walks.

    Yeah....

That .922 Career OPS, .911 2010 OPS, .919 May of 2010 OPS, and .927 Home of 2010 OPS all suck.

Just wish he could be more consistent.

Gallardo must have thought he was going to give up a home run to Gomes.
