He got looser after the first, like a lot of power pitchers. He spotted his fastball much better from the second inning on. They got no good swings at him after the three hits in the first, frankly. One hit only in the second through seventh for Bailey. It was dominant.

He was even better his second pass against the Cubs, and sure didn't shrink from a big moment last Saturday in front of a sold out crowd in what felt like a must-win against Wainwright. That was pretty nails from the kid. I really do think he's got a little something that is happily wonderful in his make-up.
