    He actually is throwing it for strikes, its that they are getting pounded today. He really needs to locate his fastball primarily, and go slow with the off-speed stuff.

    Hopefully he's a bit warmer now.

    Only 2-0. Hold it around here, and hope the offense doesn't go into snooze mode against Parra and Brewers bullpen.

    what happened to the splitter that Lehr taught him? don't think he threw it in the first inning?

    Parra's pitch count high this year is 49 in one three inning stint. The Brewers TV announcers think the most he will be asked to go is 4 or 5 innings.

    9 pitches to Heisey to start the game.

    The Reds just need to hang close in this one. The Brewers bullpen is bad and they should be able to light them up.
