exactly. And the hero of the day always seemed to vary that season. If Dusty can manage the OF like McKeon did in '99, this will be a fun season.

I swear the last few weeks have been like a dream. I can't believe how amazing this team has been playing. If they stay healthy they will make an impact.

I thought the same thing. Heisey would need to potentially tag up if it was caught, so would have to stay by the bag until he was sure it had no chance to be caught.

    GREAT win today!

No! Don't do that. You might mess with the onion's karma.

Does this mean the Reds aren't very good because they did it against Hoffman?

    Re: 5/18/10- Brewers @ Reds/ Heisey bats 5th

I missed most of the game. With no TV at work (oh, I have bsic cable, but...) and having a very busy day, I missed most of it and certainly no time for RedsZone. So when the Brewers went up 4-2, I got some work done only to look at my computer (Game Day) and see Rolen's HR (remember that no station within hearing distance of my home or office can get a Reds game on radio. There used to be 4 stations carrying the Reds in radio range and the closest one is now WCHS in Charleston--80 miles away) and went nuts. My staff almost called for an ambulance.

Wow, what a season. 7 games over .500 and still in first place! It's amazing how winning can change the pessimist to the optimist. I like winning.

I feel bad for the lady I scared the wits out of in Wal Mart when I looked down at my phone and saw the winning update. I Had just had the conversation with the door guy about how the Reds were in trouble down 4-2. Sorry to you lady. But on another note, as a 21 year old fan of this team, this is the most excitment I have ever seen (and able to comprehend) in a Reds team. I love the winning ways. KEEP IT UP!! Make ESPN notice us, that is the only way us fans get noticed by those of other teams. I want to wear my gear and talk Reds every day!!!! I don't really know what the Rally Onion is, but I LOVE IT!!!!
