That was one low strike right there. Looked like it was at the ankles.

This pitcher is gonna get hammered. Slugfest tonight. That batting practice fastball was room service and Razor missed it.

Chapman can't come up to the Majors (or Lehr or Maloney or anyone else for that matter) until one of these pitchers proves that he's not worthy of being a part of the staff.

These things have a tendency to take care of themselves. If Harang doesn't improve over his next 3 starts like he did he 3 starts before his St. Louis Cards effort on Friday, then he's going to be the odd-man out.

Harang had a 1.333 SLG and 1.833 OPS in that first inning.

More like just barely catching the corner, but yeah, it was a strike all the way. Good pitch.

Too good to look at with two strikes.

That might the first time all year Kawakami has been two consecutive scoreless innings.

Kearns just got hit in the head, but he's OK.

I'd trade him for Harang and pay half of Harang's salary in a heartbeat.

    Maybe

For some reason, at times, this offense likes to sleep walk until they can rally late.

We let Parra off the hook multiple times early yesterday, and let an 0-6, 6+
ERA pitcher off the hook in the first.

I like the way we've been swinging the bats lately, and really like the way most of our guys have been working the count instead of just swinging at everything. But we do sleepwalk at times.
