Harang needs to find "it" tonight badly. The Reds could really use a good long appearance by ANYONE to give some arms some rest.

Wasn't it not too long ago that the bullpen got too much rest? Irony

So here we are, nearly 2 full months in and Stubbs is still in Taveras/Patterson country. I wonder how many more times he gets run out there before they make a more final decision.

Until Dickerson gets back apparently. It sure doesn't appear that Heisey is going to get much a chance to supplant him in CF.

Batting 8th, playing great defense, seeing a lot of pitches, stealing bases, driving in big runs, making only 400k. I think he'll have a pretty long leash.

I think most of us would have been ok with this type of defense batting 8th. It was the leadoff spot for Taveras and Cpat that drove everyone crazy

No way. If Patterson was putting up Stubbs numbers, even in the 8th spot, he'd be getting killed on here.

    Stubbs gets the prospect pass.

Corey Patterson was making $3mm/year and 3 years older than Stubbs. I mean, at least this year, the Reds are paying league minimum for that level of production.

I'm not so sure that Stubbs has ever received a "pass."

    Rightfully so.

Patterson got his too, back in the day.

Am I the only one who doesn't get this subtitle and it's relevance? "Hey it's 1935, what's this internet thing?"

Throw back night in Cincinnati paying tribute to the first night game 75 years ago. WOY has a great thread in ORG about it.

75th anniversary of the first night game in MLB history. The Reds are going somewhat throwback tonight.

    They should have worn throwbacks.
