Homer made some adjustments. The Indians seemed to be swinging more there but that's a much better inning.

"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
Homer takes an inning to get rolling. The second he's usually facing bottom of the order, by the third he's in his groove if he's going to find it. Lots of pitchers in baseball history had first inning woes. Coming out and mowing down the other team's best guys right out of the gate is one of the hardest things about starting. If Tom Seaver's career was made up of just the first innings, he wouldn't sniff the hall of fame.
If Homer struggles in the third when the top of the order comes back around, then its time to worry IMO.

I have the MLB.tv game on mute, but when the commercial comes on, the sound comes back on.

Stubbs pops out to 2nd.
With this sun, nobody had better dog it to first this afternoon....
