I no longer find it necessary to find a "true" LF power-bat. Between Gomes/Nix, I feel we have a great platoon out there. Heck, Gomes has a 1.000 fielding percentage with 36 putouts, 1 assist and 0 errors. Impressive.

Also, no more reason for a "true" leadoff hitter. I wasn't a big fan of oCab at the beginning of the year, but wow...the numbers speak for themselves since he was moved to the leadoff spot. Very VERY impressive.

Since being moved down Stubbs has been money. He has enough power to be tolerable in the 7th hole while he grows into being a more rounded offensive player considering his defensive abilities.

Don't look now folks, but we have the 3rd best offense in the NL.....and people said we can't score runs
