15-1 now in games where our opponents have scored 3 runs or less.

The Padres threw shutout number nine last night against the Cardinals. Hopefully, #10 is tonight.

going to 11. tied at 1.

if the cards would have been shut out again tonight it would have been the first time since 1995 that the cards went two games without scoring. SD bullpen blew that in the 9th though.

A strange double play occurred in the top of the 11th involving a run down and a runner being gunned at 3rd. The last out was picked up by SD. 1st and 3rd, none out and the Cards fail to score. wow.

also a note that the Cardinals vs. Reds game on June 2nd has been picked up by ESPN.

both teams blow chances to score in the 11th.

going to 13 now. St. Louis will need to put Lohse on DL and hurry a reliever out to SD for tomorrow, I would think.

mid 13. the cards have struck out 16 (yes 16) times i think

Nothing like a long extra-inning game in San Diego to put an NL Central team into a prolonged slump.

Hope it happens to St. Louis, at least until the REDS get out of town on June 2nd.
