    The Washington Nationals Select

Justin Grimm - Pitcher - University of Georgia

Nice arm with iffy command and mechanics but the Nationals are going to get him in the system and try to correct some of his flaws

The Pittsburgh Pirates select P Aaron Kurcz from CC of Southern Nevada

I invoke the ghost of signability.

I'll do BPA for Atlanta, which on my list is Jedd Gyorko, 2B, West Virginia. A polished hitter, who is flexible defensively (or not great anywhere, tomato, tomahto).

And for the Kansas City Royals, we select RHP Taijuan Walker, RHP, Yucaipa HS (CA)

We like his upside a lot, and... well, the high schooler with reasonable signability MAY come into play, not gonna lie.

The Boston Redsox with pick #57 select Seth Blair (RHP) | Arizona State

    http://www.mlbbonusbaby.com/2010/5/2...ound#storyjump

    30. Los Angeles Angels - Seth Blair, RHP, Arizona State
Remember what I said about stockpiling pitching? The Angels are in a perfect position to take from the multiple tiers of quality pitching in this draft, and they're not afraid of pitching college arms with big stuff, as Garrett Richards proved a year ago. Blair has had an excellent season, and while I place him in the second round personally, this wouldn't be a bad pick if he took slot money in short order.

    30. Angels - Seth Blair (RHP) | Arizona State

Blair and the Angels have been linked by several industry sources throughout this spring and the link remains. The Angels will likely grab one collegiate player in the first round, and Blair could be that guy. Also under consideration for one of these late first-round picks by the Angels are prep righties, Sanchez and Scott Frazier, and a number of other high school players. Frazier, in particular, should get a long look at this spot.

Fantastic this year after unexpected thrust into Friday-night role, consistently mid-90s.
