Damn he was a fine actor.

So many great roles... Easy Rider, Blue Velvet, True Romance.....

    Loved that guy.

I thought one of his best acting roles was as Jordan Benedict III in Giant with Hudson, Taylor, and Dean.

When I saw some recent pics of Dennis about a month ago I knew, sadly, he wasn't long for this world. He did not look in good shape at all, and had that "look of death" from his battles with prostrate cancer.
"panic" only comes from having real expectations

    Huh?

I know Hopper wasn't a leading guy or one of the biggest stars but...

How could you not know who he was? Did you just bump into him at the concession stand or in the men's room?

No, i work in a restaurant, and he always use to go, he would talk for hours with you about anything. Im not a movie guy, so i didn't know he was an actor. He told me he was an actor but i didn't believe him.

That must have been amusing for him....thinking "Hey...how can you not know me?"

He probably liked that fact....and is probably more used to people asking about James Dean half the time.
