Anyone else have a Droid X yet? I ordered one a few days ago and Verizon said it'd ship no later than 7/27, so I've found this thread helpful while I'm waiting for it to arrive. I'm upgrading from an old Blackberry Curve, so it should be quite the step up.

I actually wasn't due for an upgrade via the "New Every 2" until February 2011, but once I figured out that all waiting until then would save me is $30, I decided to go for the early upgrade. You may have to pay a $20 early upgrade fee, but I got them to waive that and the $100 mail-in rebate so that all I paid was the price for the phone with a new two year agreement ($200) + tax.
Good deal then. I may have to wait though because the plan is still under my mom's name and Verizon tried to charge me 300 bucks to change the name over.
From the title of this thread, I thought you were looking for alternates to "Preparation H".
