Astros' defense ain't all that good. I would expect his ERA to be much higher than his FIP.

But yeah, you're right. He's not completely chopped liver. IIRC, he throws hard and if he's locating he can be a bare. But given the fact the Reds demolished a pitcher with a MUCH better track record just two days ago - and just about every pitcher they've seen the last couple weeks - I'll take my chances on the Reds getting to him today.

I mean hell, Miguel Cairo's probably good for a couple dingers, right?

Wow. Stadium looks pretty solidly packed. Nice to see again.

Taste of Cincinnati accounts for a lot of the Reds' attendance this weekend. We'll see if it continues throughout the summer.

Leake loses his no-no. Leadoff single for Bourn

Anybody know what kind of experience Janish has at third? I know he's excellent at short, but the angles and depths are considerably different at third and it makes me wonder if he's comfortable out there.

Bourn swipes 2nd. Brandon tries to fake that the ball went to the OF. Not buying it.

Leake just doesn't look crisp out there today.

Big ordeal in Cincy. Lots of Cincinnati area restaurants set up booths downtown offering up their product (for around $5). Lots of food, beer, and entertainment for the masses. Bunch of fun if you ask me.
